Shenyang Metro Group is a wholly state-owned company responsible for the construction and operation of the city's rapid transit system. Its predecessor, Shenyang Metro, was established in April 2004 and renamed in July 2011. The group combines rail construction and operations with related commercial activities.

The original profile describes a strategy of combining public service with commercial sustainability. Through strategic and detailed operational management, innovation and investment management, the group seeks to support the long-term development of rail construction, transport operations and related businesses.

BIOSUN provides air treatment solutions for rail transit. Its Chinese project profile reports experience across more than 100 rail projects in China and overseas, with applications addressing airborne microorganisms, particles, chemical gases and emissions from interior materials in occupied transport environments.

Applications cover train interiors, platforms, station halls and public restrooms. BIOSUN applies PHOTOPLASMA technology to selected microbial, gaseous and particulate air treatment requirements. Performance should be assessed against the equipment specifications, relevant test reports and operating conditions.
